Over the course of the past 3 years, I have had a wonderful and fulfilling opportunity to be part of an institution that has, in many ways, redefined my personal perspective on education. While I have long held the staunch belief that educational technology, within the context of pedagogic instruction, would be the revolutionary pivoting point for innovative new ideas and progressive methods of content design, development, and delivery, I wasn't quite sure how the utilization of digital technology within the educational space would factor in to my strongly held hypothesis.

At the beginning of this program, I knew going in that I would be exposed to core concepts specific to pedagogic instruction. What I did not anticipate was the widely pervasive use of digital technology within the established instructional field and the comprehensive lessons that would help shape my limited understanding of the shared congruence and polar dichotomy of education and technology. While these two concepts are mutually exclusive, the insightful instruction conveyed throughout this Master's program has led me to understand and truly value the importance of both concepts as equal components to a much larger puzzle that must be balanced in order to attain coherence and harmony as a sound and effective didactic tool.
